Keeping Children Safe Online


Safer Internet Day 2018 is  being celebrated globally today on Tuesday 6th February 2018 with the slogan “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you”.

With this in mind we thought it would be beneficial to share a page from the O2 site, where they are working in conjunction with NSPCC, to provide free advice and information to parents on how to keep children safe online.

 

To kids, online life is real life. There’s no difference between the people they speak to on social media and their friends at school. And the experiences they have over the internet are as real to them as anything else.

Families often think they know exactly what their kids get up to online, and that they understand all the apps and sites their kids use. But with technology changing every day, that’s not always the case.
