30 Hours Free Funding – Are you entitled?
The new entitlement to 30 hours free childcare is intended to support working parents with the cost of childcare and enable them, where they wish, to return to work or to work additional hours.
The additional 15 hours will be available to families where both parents are working (or the sole parent is working in a lone parent family), and each parent earns, on average, a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage (NMW) or national living wage (NLW), and less than £100,000 per year.
Parents can visit the following website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to find out more details regarding qualifying criteria, just follow the link for 30 hours free childcare Age 3 & 4!
Applications must be made and verified before the start of the current Term (i.e. Funding for September 2017 had a deadline of 31st August 2017)
What will we require from you?
If you are eligible for the additional hours you will be issued with an eligibility code.
We will need this code and your National Insurance number to verify your claim before the Term begins.
