Sports Day Cancellation

Dear Parents and Carers,
Due to the weather warning and forecast of extreme temperatures this week, we have made the difficult decision to cancel both Sports Day events.
While we explored alternative arrangements, our indoor spaces are not large enough to safely accommodate all children and parents. In addition, our field offers no shade, making it unsuitable for prolonged outdoor activities in the expected conditions.
The safety and wellbeing of our children, families and staff must remain our priority, and we feel this is the most responsible course of action.
We are hopeful that we will be able to reschedule both Sports Days and will continue to monitor the weather over the coming weeks. We will update you with new dates as soon as the weather is cooler and suitable arrangements can be made.
We appreciate your understanding and apologise for any disappointment this may cause. We look forward to celebrating Sports Day with the children at a later date.
