Y6 First week back
What a fantastic start we have had to Year 6! The children have been working hard to show they are Riverside Ready. This week In Literacy, we have began to explore the story of Robin Hood and created mind maps to look more closely at the characters and setting. In RE, we thought about commitment and how we show commitment. In Science, we created a time line to show how living things have changed over time. Finally in History, we began to learn about the Shang Dynasty and wrote an explanation about a pile of 'dragon bones', which were found by a man named Wang Yirong What a busy week! Keep checking back for regular learning updates!
